The moment you graduate from Alvernia University, you become a member of the University’s Alumni Association. Membership within this network of graduates has many benefits. Our goal is to establish and enhance a mutually beneficial, rewarding relationship between Alvernia and its alumni that will last a lifetime.
The Alvernia University Alumni Association serves alumni by facilitating communication among alumni and between alumni and the University. Be it alone or in collaboration with other University departments such as Institutional Advancement, Admissions, Career Development, University Life, the Office of Alumni and Parent Engagement plans and implements programs, events, services and gatherings designed to promote and strengthen the interests of the University and its graduates.
Since its establishment as a four-year liberal arts institution in 1958, more than 12,000 individuals have earned a degree from Alvernia and with each graduating class, our numbers continue to grow. Many of our graduates still live along the East Coast but don’t be surprised to find Alvernia alumni west of the Appalachian Mountains. Regardless of the location, our alumni are very interested in supporting our current students and other alumni.
We depend on you to keep your Alumni Association active and relevant. You are the heart of this association. There are many ways for you to be involved and stay connected. You will find such opportunities on the subsequent webpage – ‘Get Involved’ as well as attending our many alumni events. However you choose to honor your Alvernia experience, we are excited to work with you and welcome to campus often.
